Joan Wright Portrait

A native of Westport, Joan’s background includes 17 years in the financial industry after graduating from NYU, experience that sharpened the analytical and negotiating skills she brings to every real estate transaction. Coming from a family of respected local builders, she also has a hands-on understanding of construction, home design, and the possibilities within a property—knowledge that provides an added advantage to both buyers and sellers.

Since 1994, Joan has represented real estate clients throughout Fairfield County, developing an in-depth understanding of the local market and an astute eye for emerging trends. Her experience allows her to guide clients through complex decisions, negotiate effectively on their behalf, and structure transactions with the goal of achieving the most advantageous terms. Throughout the process, clients can expect seasoned guidance, professionalism, patience, and discretion.

As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, Joan has a particular commitment to helping older adults and their families navigate the decisions that come with changing needs and lifestyles. For some, that means downsizing from a longtime family home and finding a new home that offers greater ease, accessibility, and peace of mind. Joan understands that these transitions involve far more than a real estate transaction and approaches them with patience, compassion, and respect for each client’s individual circumstances.

Just as importantly, moving is not always the right answer. For clients who prefer to remain in their current homes, Joan combines her construction knowledge with a network of trusted resources to help identify modifications that can make a home safer, more accessible, and better suited to changing needs. Whether the best solution is adapting a longtime home or transitioning to something new, Joan helps clients understand their options and make informed decisions about what will work best for them.
